NTEU Chapter 65 represents 2500 Internal Revenue Service Employees in the National Capital Region
Our mission: To organize federal employees to work together to ensure that every federal employee is treated with dignity and respect.
The National Treasury Employees Union proudly represents 150,000 federal bargaining unit employees in 33 departments and agencies, making it the largest independent non-postal federal employees union. The union specializes in representation of non-supervisory federal employees in every classification and pay level in civilian agencies. NTEU was established in 1938 and has worked for over seven decades to expand the scope of federal employee protections, rights, and benefits.
NTEU is the voice of the federal workforce on Capitol Hill, in the courts, at the bargaining table and in the media. We fight for fair pay and benefits, improved working conditions and other issues that affect the working lives of federal employees. NTEU is the gold standard for labor relations in the federal sector. Its negotiated labor agreements are second to none.

PTSP Reimbursement Issues when Promoted
“When I was promoted to a new position in a new location, I had an unique reimbursement issue with PTSP. Once NTEU Chapter 65 president stepped in, my PTSP issues were quickly and efficiently resolved. It is a shame I wasn't able to get the price change - but thank you so much for helping to ensure future employees in the same situation will be reimbursed!”

NTEU 65 Is a Lifesaver!
“I am forever thankful to NTEU Chapter 65 and their extremely knowledgeable President, Mr. Pollard. I am so grateful for his unwavering commitment, support, attention to detail, step-by-step advice, and compassion. I know 100% that without Mr. Pollard’s unwavering pursuit for fairness and advocating for me, my issues would have been ignored and my situation would have been beyond distressing and most-likely a career-shattering experience for me. The amount of time and effort my concerns consumed was huge, but Mr. Pollard never gave up. Instead he continued to elevate my case as high as it was necessary. He convinced me to stay the course."
